She drove 2.5 hours through Delhi rain for a three-hour session that wasn't enough. She apologized for having to leave.

He felt embarrassed and shy. What's happening here, man, he said, laughing. He felt seen and that felt strange to him.

He has delicate, slender fingers like in the painting 'Lady with an Ermine' by Lenardo Da Vinci . He crossed his arms and has an effortless charm about him.

Her father said he'd sit quietly in a corner and that he will not watch the shoot. 

His wife booked the shoot for herself. Only he got his portraits done.

He was on a tight budget. He agonized endlessly about the collar of his old shirt.

He waited until everyone in the office had gone home. He'd just been appointed CEO. Most people in the building hadn't met him yet.

He leads a very large, a well known firm. "The way you tell me what to do", he said. "I like it".

His daughter tells him not to smile. She says he looks sad when he does.

He didn't mention the photos were for his dating profile. As if I'd judge him. He's not alone, there's a tribe of his likes.

She didn't do anything I asked of her. The portraits are entirely hers. Her colleagues asked why I was giving her so much time.

He wanted a headshot like Steve Jobs.
