Bookings & Payments​​​​

• A shoot is confirmed after an advance is paid 

  • Indian clients: An advance by UPI / NEFT + balance by UPI / NEFT / cash

  • International clients: PayPal deposit + balance in cash only, in any of these currencies: INR ₹ / USD $ / EUR € / GBP £ / SGD S$ / TBH ฿

• Full payment is required by the end of the shoot - delivery schedule depends on it (date of full payment realization + 5 days).

• Invoice (only tax invoices) can be issued after realizing full payment + 18% GST. 

 

Pre-Session Briefing & Preparation

• A 10–15 minute briefing with the subject (person being photographed) helps me in making sure you get what you are looking for, it is essential.

• Preparation is an absolute must as well, prep helps you get what you are looking for. If you come partially prepared or unprepared and insist on proceeding, we will, and the onus of the outcome will be on you.

• Third-party bookings (one person books the shoot for someone else) are especially problematic. Protective middlemen/women stonewalling the subject (the person being photographed) raise red flags - they spell ruin - 'Chinese whispers' are a thing! A one on one pre-session briefing is necessary directly with the main subject before the shoot.

Creative Direction & Your Inputs​​​​​

• You need to follow my directions and preparation guideline or make your requirements and preferences known to me beforehand using sample photos / mood boards. If neither is done, I will proceed using my professional judgment and the outcome will be treated as final, with no scope for rework or any considerations including (but not limited to) full or partial refunds, discounts, freebies etc.

Refunds​

• Once the service is delivered, it is considered complete and non-refundable (either full or partial). However, I will do all I can within reason and my capacity to make sure your concerns, if any, are addressed. 

• Don't need the photos anymore? Don't have use for them?: I get it, you can keep them anyway! Charges are based on the service rendered not on evolving needs or usage.

Rescheduling​

• Reschedule once for free.

• Pay ​₹ 2,500 per reschedule from the 2nd reschedule. 

• The session booking amount can be held for a future booking but cannot be refunded.

• If you rescheduled more than once, you pay the current charges as on the date of the shoot.

• All reschedules are subject to my availability.

Pehle bataya tha! ​(I told you!)

I will honor everything written here, even if you don't ask. However I won't entertain 'pehle bataya tha' ('I told you') style claims regarding any aspect of the service, no matter what. Any service or part of the service not explicitly mentioned here in this page are excluded, out of scope and offered and charged at my discretion.​​​​​

Photo Selection

• You will be shown all images from the session for selection for you to select number of images included in the package you chose. At that time you are free to buy additional images beyond your package.

• Once selected, your selection is considered final and binding with no scope for changes because photos not selected will be deleted permanently (they can't be given away freely, kindly don't even ask, if you like more photos, please buy them.)

Data Retention

• After photo selection, all unselected files are deleted permanently.

• After delivery, the finished photos may be retained at my discretion.

• If you opt out of portfolio usage, finished photos will be deleted after delivery to protect your privacy.

• Once the finished photos are delivered, the service is considered complete with no residual obligation.

• I do not guarantee long-term storage of finished files.

• If the files are available and you want them again, I am happy to re-send them as a courtesy, free of charge.

• If finished files are lost, deleted, or become unavailable for any reason after delivery, I do not accept responsibility for data loss.

• I do not attempt data recovery or retrieval under any circumstances.

• If files are lost after delivery, a new photoshoot will be required and will be charged as a fresh session at current prices.

Photo Editing

• Editing will be kept minimal and professional (check the gallery to check my prior work) includes brightness, color, finishing, and minor retouching.

• Expression, pose cannot be altered by editing the photos.

• After the first edited version is shared, one round of editing revisions can be requested.

• Editing revisions can be done based on specific, actionable feedback, subject to technical feasibility.

• ​Once the requested edits are done, the images are considered final without any scope for further changes including undoing edits (back and forth editing).

Fair Usage of the Service​​​

We can experiment different looks but in proportion to the number of portraits you are going to buy.
