What is an Exclusive License? How is it different from a Standard License?

You retain all rights of use of the photos taken, that's exclusive license. A standard license on the other hand allows the photographer right use the photos for his own portfolio and promotional purposes. You can opt for an exclusive license by paying a small fees as given in the price list.

How much does a headshot session cost with 10K Portraits?

Charges depend on the number of headshots you need. Please refer to Packages & Pricing page for all the details.

How many images will I receive from a headshot session?

It is up to you, go for any number of headshots you need.

What services are included in the headshot charges?

The headshot charges cover the pre-shoot consultation, guidance with preparation, coaching in posing during the photography session, basic retouching, editing, and delivery of high-resolution digital images.

Do the headshot charges include retouching services?

Yes, basic retouching is included. This typically involves adjustments for color, contrast, and minor, temporary blemishes, flyaway hair etc. I will discuss the retouching plan with you after the shoot and am happy to accommodate any requests subject to feasibility. However I don't like to do photo manipulation.

Are there any additional fees beyond the listed charges?

The listed charges are comprehensive and include all or any additional charges you may incur.

Can I customize a shoot to fit my specific needs?

Yes, I am happy to customize the shoot as per your needs. Call me or message me directly to discuss your preferences.

What is the turnaround time for receiving the edited images?

7 days from the date of full payment, but if you can't wait that long, you may opt for express delivery by paying an additional charge.

What if I need my headshots urgently?

You may opt for rush delivery services - charges are given above.

Congratulations! You have taken the first step to enhancing your digital presence by booking a headshot session.

10K Portraits is a process driven photography service. This is not like any other photography service you have ever seen. What you pay and what you get is clearly documented. Prices are not invented

No verbal promises, pompous fakery, big talk or any of that BS. Thank you for believing in my service - your trust means a lot for me and I go to great lengths to keep it, it is very valuable for me.

This is a headshot and portrait photography service like no other - you will say this yourself after the fact. My work doesn't start and end with clicking photos. It starts by helping you prepare to groom, select your attire and ends when I retouch and give you the headshots / portraits you are looking for. This is what you can expect:

Guidance in preparing for the shoot: I will to work with you and provide consultation about the type of headshot or portrait you need, what to wear, grooming, makeup, location of the shoot or just about anything to help you prepare for the shoot. If you need a makeup person, I can arrange that for you.

Studio at your doorstep: Shoot at your office or home or outdoor, as per your your choice and convenience. I bring studio to you, complete with professional lighting (no shortcuts) and backdrop with color choices. With a studio right in your living room, you can change your attire with peace of mind, pose without being self conscious.

Posing: I will coach you and get comfortable in front of the camera to get the best of you in your headshot / portrait.

Shoot: I typically take dozens of photos till I get the photos that makes you say 'Yes!'. I don't mind the time and effort I spend in getting you the best possible photo, I am on your side.

Selection: I will help you pick and choose those best shots that truly represent YOU (from dozens).

Editing: I discuss the editing plan with you and tailor it to suit your tastes and preferences so that you get what you are looking for.

Delivery: of photos in any format you want: for your website, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp...you name it. I will give you photos that just fit the size, quality, resolution, format requirements of these platforms.

This is as end to end a service as it gets.

Why do I go that extra mile? Photography for me is a labor of love, not a means of earning money or of pleasing people or of becoming famous. All I care for is how good a portrait / headshot I can give you and I believe this is the best possible way to achieve that.

Terms & Conditions In A Nutshell

1. Shoot booking can be done with an advance payment – I am unable to book shoots without 50% advance payment. For the same day shoots, please pay 100% package amount in advance.

2. Bargaining: Kindly avoid asking for discounts, free express delivery, free photos, dumps/ raw images, TIFF/PSD files, unpaid EUL etc. The prices are fixed (at a given time) and same for all customers without exceptions.

3. Cash of Delivery: Cash of delivery option is not available – full payment to be made before delivery. Delivery date is calculated as 'the date of payment' + 6 days.

4. Rescheduling: Rescheduling a shoot is discouraged however if it is unavoidable, it can be done once, free of cost. All reschedules are subject to my availability.

Bargains

10k Portrait Photography processes. pricing, charges and the whole service is designed in such a way that there's no need or scope for any kind of bargaining or negotiations before, during, or after the shoot.

Bargaining includes asking for discounts, free photos, raw images, photo dumps, Photoshop files (TIFF or PSD) with edits, free express delivery etc.

I believe anything given away free is never actually free and the cost of which is already included (without your knowledge) in the pricing structure. If you don't ask for it, you lose - which is the case with most/all photographers who invent pricing as they go. That's not the case with me, with 10K Portraits Photography. This is a honest and transparent Headshot and Portrait Photography service. Pricing is transparent and nothing is hidden so that you don't have to worry about missing out on any freebies, there are none!

Whatever is included (clearly mentioned above ) will be given to you, whether you ask for it or not.

As a principal I don't do airbrushing, photo manipulation (except removing distracting elements), skin color lightening or changing, slimming in Photoshop.

Payments & Delivery Guarantee

Full payment is to be made before delivery. I am unable to offer cash on delivery option.
If the full payment is not realized on the day of the shoot, the standard 7 day delivery guarantee is not applicable. The delivery date will be adjusted as date of full payment + 7 days

Change of Mind

Any change in photo selection after 24 hrs. from the date and time of photo selection is considered as additional photos and charged accordingly. You will get the photos you selected in the beginning as well as the new photos you selected - both will be duly edited.

Video

Video editing will be done and a draft shared. Any changes need to be finalized in one go and those changes will be done after which the video is considered final. Any additional iterations are chargeable at Rs.2,000 per iteration.

Studio

10k Portrait's on location studio setup is a lot better than the traditional studios in many ways yet there are no additional charges for the same. However if you still want to visit the so called photo studio, please pay the studio rental charges (this is a 3rd party service and they charge us too) - prices vary - let me know beforehand.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling shoots causes disruption to other customers' plans hence I discourage it. Once scheduled, a shoot date and time is cast in stone. However I understand that life is not entirely predictable and hence allow one reschedule for free.

Repeat rescheduling can cause serious disruption to other customers' plans and to my reputation and hence to encourage you to stick to the original schedule and avoid rescheduling on a whim, I chare an additional ₹ 1,500 per reschedule from the 2nd reschedule onwards. All reschedules are subject to availability of free slots.

I would request you to plan better and not to reschedule if that's possible and yes avoid paying anything extra!

Fair Use Policy

* Shoot Duration: The given shoot duration for each package is quite generous and adequate - you'd rarely need more time than that. However for any reason (like extended waiting times or other eventualities) if the shoot gets extended, I charge ₹ 750 per hour as a small reimbursement for my time. I would encourage you to plan better and avoid paying these charges - it is a win, win for both of us.

* The number of looks, poses, attires, backgrounds, and the shoot duration are flexible are to be proportional to the number of portraits you need - this is in the interest of time and effort, both yours and mine.

Fair, judicious use is encouraged. I understand honest mistakes happen and I overlook them. I am also intensely aware of service abuse and misuse which I discourage.
